punto Raw Mixes & Other

Raw: being in natural condition; not processed or refined.
blankblankThe products we list on this page are not "Balanced and Complete" by themselves. I know many people that alternate between a complete product and an incomplete product so as to balance it out. Then there are others that never use a complete product. They feel if they alternate enough, then surely the dog is not missing any nutrients needed. Lastly, there are those who feel there is nothing a good vitamin mineral supplement can't fix if added to an incomplete product.

My opinion (for what it is worth) is that we are not nutritionists, and pretending we know as much can be detrimental to our pets well being... I will always mix a little of this and that, but never so much that it equals more then the balanced part of the diet

Maybe an adult dog can handle being low on certain nutrients (or lack thereof) once it is already developed, but a puppy can never be lacking in balanced nutrition. Personally, I would rather not feed a puppy enough as opposed to feeding any type of excessive nutrient...it can affect their health for the rest of their life.
